I finally have this beautiful pocket knife in my hand. It is a custom left-handed gentleman’s folding pocket knife with exposed flip-stem for one-handed opening. The body is African Blackwood enclosing a hardened steel blade. The flip action is light and smooth and within a few tries am able to quickly open and close the knife with ease. The grip fits well in the hand and the moving parts have an elegance and refinement of fit forged with much care and attention.

This one is our recommendation of today: very tasty, very good! The colour: dark ruby. The bouquet: aromas of ripe plums, berries and oak spice with a hint of cigar box. The palate: rich and full bodied with ripe plums new leather and a good tannic structure.
Food suggestions are: enjoy on its own or serve with mediterranean meat dishes such as spicy lamb, souvlaki or kebabs or traditional roasts, oxtail and barbecued steaks.
I like it together with some senner cheese from the Alpes so I can taste him all on its own not accompanying some meal. Thanks to my good friend Tristan it came a long way directly from Johannesburg.
Found this great blog for the environmentally cool & conscious. SHFT has great content from Architecture to Clothing with the environment in mind. For example did you know it take over 1000 Gallons of water to make a pair of jeans? Maybe it is worth spending a little more on jeans that last longer? A pair of jeans travel half way around the world to eventually end up in Europe. The clothing industry has been slow to react in the wasteful nature of clothing manufacture and distribution.
